Kyo Hayashiya
京はやしや 晴海直売所
Inside Harumi View Plaza, this Kyo Hayashiya direct retail shop offers tea-scented takeaways ranging from signature matcha kudzu jelly and exclusive financiers to roll-cake offcuts and matcha warabi mochi.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Carrying a clean, vivid tea fragrance and a texture that gently dissolves on the tongue, matcha kuzuneri (chilled arrowroot jelly) is the signature confection to pick up on any visit to Kyo Hayashiya. Drawing out the natural balance of mild bitterness and mellow sweetness in green tea, this smooth dessert offers a silky mouthfeel that makes it equally well-suited as a thoughtful gift or a personal treat.
Located on the 2th floor of Harumi View Plaza, this direct sales outpost also gives shoppers access to shop-exclusive items and casual finds. Individually wrapped financiers made specially for the Harumi outlet showcase fragrant plain and matcha profiles, ideal for afternoon snacks or sharing at the office. Trimmings from roll cakes sometimes appear in the display cases as well, alongside hojicha ganache cake, rich tea puddings, tender Hyakunen-mochi, and a wide array of other green tea desserts.
Opening hours are limited to a brief weekday window from 11:00 to 15:00, and without dine-in seating, service is strictly takeout. The register accepts major credit cards along with cashless apps such as PayPay and d Barai, making quick midday stops easy on a weekday lunch break.
